2025.08.17 BACK -- what i'm looking at this week

Between some personal time off, taking care of family obligations, job switching and kids heading back to school, I had to skip the dailies. Easing back into things this week!

📸 The Big Picture

We’ve been bullish since i’ve been away. I’ve embedded my notes in my chart, this week.

we have a 5 day balance. i'm watching it. friday 10am bounced off of the 2 sig of that area and holding, but still below the POC. Not surprised if they attempt to hit PWPOC/5d balance POC -- (will hit PDVAH as potential resistance) and if they reject, retest the bottom and if they lose the balance more below.

However, we're currently outside our current upward channel (rejecting it Friday) if they can't make it back in overnight, i'm expecting exploration below.

if they can make it back into the channel (specifically hold above PDVAH @ 23860.50), it's back to retest the balance high (which is also previous week's value area high), sigmas, and continue upward towards the measured move of 24265.25.

As usual, it’s anyone’s game, and while they’re easily set up to cool off for a little bit, they can certainly attempt to recover.

Jackson hole this week, and maybe they’ll say something frothy to move the tape? We’ll see.
