Above above 23628.75 is bullish for the day, giving us room to play in the prior all time high value area. it’s on to 23646.5, and beyond. | Below lose 23597.5 without a speedy recovery (5 mins or so) and we’ll retest 23587.5, and if we can’t hold it, on to 23556.5. May God be with us if we can’t hold 23514 again. |
📸 The Big Picture
Yesterday was a consolidation day, with some hints as to what the market was aiming for (hint--it's not in the downward direction). Pretty much like the day prior really.
Still bullish, breaking through some key levels. in fact, she cracked the prior ATH value zone, before what became a strong reject.
But was it really that strong? heck of a short, if you took it, or maybe you got clapped, like me.
it failed to reach the 50%, and it bounced just shy of our zone (see that circle)..nice.
overnight they recovered the 4 day value area low, spiked below it & recovered, then never looked back on their way back upwards overnight. will they be able to pop back into the key area (ATH value area low) and start working it today? will we have to wait until next week? or is it a big old trap to take us below the purple zone?
Previous week Value Area High so far has held. Not bearish, as a start, until she loses it. Not fully bullish on the day until 23628.75 is recaptured and held. Peeking above and failing will not be a good sign, especially during the session.
Note that this will be my first time i'll mention NVDA earnings. you know why? because while it matters, IT DOESNT MATTER. sometimes these kinds of moves are great distractions from where the market is moving, and great ways to get people to wig out before they take the market higher. But now that I've heard about 'em. they weren't even poor earnings. so there's that. I'm not concerned, only happy that there was some. volatility to take us to to some areas that showed us what the market is really interested in.
anyway, news at. 8:30, we'll see how that moves 'em. Be aware, they could dump it all if they wanted, back to the purple zone. However, SPY has already tapped ATH. Let's go QQQ with the follow!
