She wants to stay above 21294.75 to have a chance to get bullish for the day. Then there’s 21342.5 to contend with. Pushing past 21399.25 and our 21403.5 resistance opens our door to 21725.25, which is a pretty high target. It’s met with some resistance at at least 21547, for starters. beyond 21725.25, then, we’ll see if they really want to goose the tape to 22046.25 today…unlikely, but anything can happen.

Currently we’re on the lower side of this bullish flag, and if they drop ‘em, they’re going to amke a stop to test the overnight low and pivot area around 21198-21186.5. It could be a quick drop to 21136, and then to retest 21042.75, and potentially 20958. Bulls certainly don’t wanna lose 20958, as it will have them testing 2024 levels starting with 20836. I haven’t even done the research, but based on the price action, there may have been quite a lot of new buying at that level.

The Big Picture

The bigguns… if they don’t move anything immediately, I’d still be careful for some heavy activity at market open. But most folk expect PPI days to be less than quiet. ;-)
